What to Expect:
The web developer will be responsible for all front-end development needs on Nespresso Canada's eCommerce platforms, both B2C and B2B. This is a crucial asset to the ecommerce team in order to develop new assets and landing pages in-house, improving agility and performance within the team and supporting the growth of Nespresso Canada sales & user experience. You will be the main support for eCommerce specialists and other stakeholders in the development, from a design and UX standpoint, of online features and pages to increase conversions and sales and improve communication and customer experience.
A day in the life:
Drive development of A/B test implementations, as defined by eCommerce Analyst and UX team, with the objective of improving the customer site experience
Drive the development of assets to support the personalization efforts of Nespresso Canada.
Identify unrealized opportunities / risks as part of all key roll-outs and launches
Influence the campaign design process to ensure commercial needs are met and executed in a timely manner
Development of fully responsive & WCAG compliant campaign landing pages, ensuring that campaign assets are delivered in adherence with global digital, technical, commercial & brand content guidelines
Continually optimize the content & campaign operations roadmap and manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load.
Manage front end content development needs from the business, leveraging best in class web development frameworks as well as UX & UI intuition to deliver high performing commercial and brand experiences.
Support operations team in projects and updates.
Liaise with local IT/IS manager to follow-up on test and/or production incidents monitored eCommerce platforms
Escalate any major issue affecting conversion rate, new member activation, or availability of the products or the platforms
Successfully participate in local quarterly Market Acceptance Testing (MATs).
Implement best-in-class customer experience by proactively proposing local initiatives
Adapt recommendations to B2B and B2C websites.
Stay updated on all new technical SEO changes.
Monitor digital technical trends, new features and/or technology to stay on top of digital innovation.
Act as the subject-matter expert on technical best practices online (e.g. loading times)
Role Requirements
Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide
3+ years experience with HTML, CSS and JS
3+ years experience in eCommerce platforms and content management systems (SAP Hybris & Drupal), including app
3+ years experience in technical SEO
Preferred Skills
Experience with Google optimize
Experience with vue.js
Ability to work independently
Able to work in a fast pace working environment
