Oldcastle Building Envelope, is currently seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Service Center Manager for our location in Moorestown, NJ. The Service Center Manager role will manage and oversee all aspects of operations and products with the sales area; ultimately to deliver upon desired sales and profit targets year-over-year. This role will lead by example; uphold current and establish new safety standards, monitor and audit safety in the workplace, communicating with and coaching employees on all aspects of safe work practices as a top priority. Responsible for the overall business development and growth, with the primary focus on topline sales, technical knowledge, and overall day to day operations. A key aspect of this role is to provide effective leadership, communication and inspiration to achieve ultimate operational objectives.
Heres What Youll Get To Do
Drive a safe working environment for all employees while maintaining safety guidelines. Ensure the facility is complying with, and is actively engaged in OGEP, corporate safety programs, and to effectively partner with local Safety Coordinators to meet those goals and mandates.
Driver for continuous process improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kanban, Visual Factory, Inventory control, etc.)
Manage and control costs materials and inventory costs, labor / OT costs, supplies, etc.
Achieve required financial performance understand, set, meet, and exceed yearly sales goals and budgets, profit / margins, inventory turns, product needs, and production challenges.
Reach best in the market lead times, quality control, and OTIF / CSI performance
Communicate regularly with the area sales team to help better capture the market; service and foster customer relationships and understand local and national competitive forces within the marketplace.
Meet and regularly talk to customers to stay well-informed of needs and expectations, market conditions, pricing, QC, product changes, etc
Ensure all employees follow operation standards, working practices, and HR guidelines set forth
Professional and promptly handle any customer and/or employee issues
Lead the facility team, including hiring, coaching, training, developing and any necessary disciplinary actions.
Heres What Were Looking For
5 years industry experience, with prior management experience preferred
Bachelors in Management or related industry preferred
Strong understanding of price, cost, and margin relationships; financial knowledge and business acumen necessary to manage facility P&L, budgeting, forecasting and expense control.
An understanding of the market conditions and how they relate to our customers and competitors
An understanding of manufacturing and fabricating equipment, processes, procedures, and safety
Strong PC computer skills including MS 365 (Word, Excel & PPT)
Demonstrated problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and determination to meet set goals
Must be an effective communicator with logical, organized verbal and written communication w/ strong interpersonal skills including employee relations
