Volt is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Mossville, IL. This is a contingent position forecasted for 24 months.
Within this role, you will:
Support engine design for IPSD Large Engine systems
Design and model structural engine components using our client’s standards and design practices
Collaborate with engine platform engineers and suppliers to release designs that meet functional requirements, are optimized for manufacturability, and meet cost targets
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited U.S. university
1 or more years of experience with modeling and design
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work well within a diverse team
* This position is located in Mossville, IL. Candidates must be able to relocate to this location at their own expense. *
Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
