Job Description


Job Title: Machinist

Job Type: Temp to Hire


  • Monday Thursday

  • 3:30pm 2:00am

  • Weekend shift (Friday Sunday)

  • 6:00am 6:30pm

Location: Shakopee, MN

Pay: $18-$25/hr (Weekly Pay!)

Job Description:

  • Load and unload machines (automated and manual)

  • Change and replace worn or broken tooling

  • Inspect parts

  • Set up CNC machines

  • Problem solve general machining issues

  • Perform maintenance tasks on machines

  • Correctly handle all production paperwork

  • Adjust equipment as needed (offset changes)

  • Follow safety rules and keep clean/orderly work area

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Minimum 1-year CNC machinist experience

  • Forklift Certified is a plus

  • Basic math, computer & hand/power tools skills

  • Able to read and write English proficiently

  • Consistency in work performance

  • Basic understanding of G-Code and M-Code

  • Basic knowledge of machine operations

  • Ability to operate crane

  • Ability to read and understand a blueprint, tolerances, and drafting symbols related to machining

  • Ability to do machining problem solving

  • Attention to detail
