Job Description

Proposal Assistant

Hours: M-F; 8 AM - 4:45 PM

Pay: $18/hr

Location: St Paul, MN

Job Description:

The proposal assistant handles tasks involving proposals and submittals while utilizing set up processes.

  • Completing tasks associated with RFP and RFI

  • Handling responses

  • Completing intake and set up processes for all incoming requests

  • Assembling both hard and electric copies to be printed or shipped

  • Collaborating with team

  • Creating honest and appealing proposal responses

  • Submitting drafts of proposal to consultants and clients

  • Ensure a competitive advantage for team

  • Act as go-to for additional tasks and projects

  • Enter data or request information

  • Gather data from outside sources, if necessary

  • Assist in maintenance and upkeep of proposals


  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Decision making skills

  • Creativity in submitting level 1 proposals

  • Organized with the ability to prioritize, complete work quickly under pressure

  • Ability to work effectively, independently and with team

  • Knowledge of SharePoint system and experience using Microsoft systems (Excel ad Visio, included)

  • Willingness to work overtime upon request
