Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Immunology within Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in Christian Hinrichs's laboratory to conduct research on tumor immunology with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and gene-engineered T cells. Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to establish an innovative, collaborative research program addressing important and fundamental questions. Active areas of research include T cell receptor discovery, membrane-tethered cytokine technologies, tumor resistance mutations, target antigen discovery, and preclinical development of new TCR-based treatments. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged. Qualified candidates must be in the process of completing or have finished the training for their Ph.D. and/or M.D. Candidates must provide proof all requirements have been fulfilled before their position start date. Preferred: graduates with a strong publication record and looking to move to the next stage of their training.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
