Normal Hours: As scheduled by Boiler Chief (These hours and scheduled days are subject to change based on business needs and operational demands. Notification will be given in the event of any change or variation). Job duties will include but not be limited to the following: PRIMARY DUTIES: Perform all functions necessary to operate and maintain steam generating equipment and auxiliary equipment in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations. Boiler operator will have ultimate responsibility for all maintenance, regulations, paperwork, chemical ordering, factory mutual insurance compliance, state inspection compliance, and any other pertinent operations requirements for the boiler room, and ammonia system. Perform all functions necessary to operate, monitor and document plant's refrigeration, air compressors, and powerhouse HVAC equipment in accordance with manufacturer and Kraft-Heinz specifications. Maintain, calibrate, and repair plant equipment such HVAC, refrigeration, plant utilities such as steam, water and electrical systems, electric motors and pumps. Install, calibrate, and trouble shoot steam systems, pumps, motors and any mechanical systems. Boiler operator will be responsible for environmental compliance of his areas. Other pertinent requirements will be established as required. SECONDARY DUTIES: Perform preventive maintenance to equipment. Perform preservation and up-keep actions to assigned areas. Operator is responsible for scheduling and keeping sanitation complete in all areas of his domain and for the other operators under the chief. Other duties as assigned by Boiler Chief. SAFETY DUTIES Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/ exceed plant safety goals. Involvement and supportive of KSRMP teams and processes. Ensure all Ammonia system activities comply with PSM Standards. Required to perform all duties safely and use discretion to prevent injuries. QUALITY DUTIES Insure the quality of our products and work place by following all procedures and guidelines. Actively participating in continuous improvement efforts and compliance with established GMP's and operating procedures. Assist in implementing QCMS and training of new associates. *Qualifications: Candidate must possess Minnesota State 1st Class B license or higher Boilers license. Must demonstrate leadership ability, positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills. Maintain legible & accurate records/paperwork as required. A working knowledge of safety guidelines & problem solving abilities are a must.
