American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payment solutions for businesses of all sizes. Within GCS, the Small Business Loyalty Marketing team develops marketing strategies to deepen customer loyalty and engagement with our Card Members and drive revenue growth.

The Senior Analyst, Spend Engagement Marketing will launch personalized & targeted marketing educating Card Members on relevant spend capacity features and tools across our proprietary Charge and Credit Card Portfolios to drive spend growth. Success in this role means flawlessly implementing customer marketing campaigns across email and partnering with other channel owners, while collaborating with partners including Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Marketing Operations. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will analyze results and leverage insights to optimize customer experiences and strategy performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key partners across the organization as well as external agencies to develop, plan and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels

  • Monitor, report and analyze campaign results and provide recommendations to help define future strategies

  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to ensure that all marketing content is aligned with the latest regulations and verbiage

  • Assistance with ad-hoc projects and requests, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of email marketing experience (financial services experience is a plus)

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, operate autonomously, and prioritize effectively

  • Highly collaborative and comfortable in a cross-functional environment with many partners and able to influence internal and external partners

  • Demonstrates strategic thought leadership and intellectual curiosity to proactively find opportunities, anticipate challenges, and provide creative solutions

  • Very focused on the customer – excited and passionate about creating great experiences.

  • Experience managing a marketing campaign from kickoff to deployment

  • Easily adapts to change with a flexible attitude

  • Solution oriented and ability to overcome roadblocks

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
