ABOUT THE ROLE:

Resy’s ability to build a leading hospitality brand that attracts the world’s best restaurants hinges upon a strong brand platform, set of differentiated restaurant-led content – including experiences, editorial, and impactful campaigns – and communications that activate a powerful guest demand network to support their business. The VP, Resy Brand & Demand role is responsible for brand and marketing functions designed to drive guest demand and engagement to restaurants on the Resy platform. In this role, you will define the Resy brand narrative and creative platform, own all paid and owned guest marketing channel strategies and execution, develop the guest and brand content curriculum across restaurant and proprietary assets (editorial content, experiences), own brand and marketing measurement and investments, and champion our restaurants and guests. You will partner closely with the extended Resy organization – specifically, Restaurant, Product, Data and Analytics, and the extended marketing teams – the American Express US Consumer Services Marketing and Operational Excellence teams, Global Advertising & Brand Management, Travel & Lifestyle Services, and external vendors to ensure we deliver unmatched engagement and network growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive Resy marketing strategies to drive awareness and engagement amongst Resy Users, Restaurants and American Express Card Members across the company’s priority cities.

  • Build and manage Resy’s brand identity and positioning, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of restaurant-led marketing campaigns and experiences for users

  • Champion market research and analysis in partnership with the user research and insights teams to identify emerging trends, restaurant and user needs, and the competitive landscape, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and investments.

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, email marketing, social media, and content marketing to drive demand to restaurants and engage users.

  • Collaborate with the restaurant and product teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with product roadmap and sales objectives via a unified go-to-market approach.

  • Create a Resy marketing scorecard and learning agenda to evaluate optimize performance and externally to communicate the value of our demand network to restaurants.

  • Lead Resy brand distribution efforts through strategic partnerships, sponsorships and media opportunities.

  • Develop a Guest Value proposition, bundling and merchandizing value across Product, Marketing and Restaurant offerings that drives native app and web engagement and demand to restaurants.

  • Enhance marketing operations and go-to-market processes to enable greater scale and ensure flawless execution.

  • Develop and build a winning team with a clear mission and career development plans for colleagues.

Required Skills & Background:

  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles with at least 10 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, and customer engagement / acquisition in hospitality or lifestyle industry.

  • Experience managing highly matrixed enterprise-wide strategies to unlock customer growth and engagement strategies.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence cross functional partnerships and senior leadership.

  • Deep understanding of digital, experiential and / or content marketing strategies and tactics, with proficiency in media, email marketing, content, social media, and events.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a strong customer focused, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for users.

  • Proven track record of driving direct results in a fast paced, complex, process-driven environment.

  • Depth of experience in leading and developing high performing teams.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills that can galvanize a team and stakeholders to drive business outcomes and achieve common goals.

  • You are passionate about restaurants and the hospitality industry.

Salary Range: $185,000.00 to $260,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
