Your Opportunity: Precision Press is looking for Experienced Flexible Packaging Equipment Operators to join our team in North Mankato, MN! We are adding additional production lines and seeking highly experienced and detail-oriented operators to run the equipment. Your Responsibilities: Operate a highly sensitive machine that produces laminated flexible packaging for consumer goods Prepare and operate printing equipment in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures Continually monitor equipment for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as needed Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output Check supplies for proper color, size, type and quantity Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment Your Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday OR 2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday 4x10 schedule You Must Have: High degree of mechanical ability and attention to detail Ability to perform continuous adjustments to machinery to ensure exceptional print quality Ability to read units of measurement in standard and metric, in order to set machine up properly High degree of mathematical skills Ability to learn and use computer programs to properly set the equipment up for each job Good reading ability Requirements Within This Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer: 2+ years experience working on pouching or flexible packaging equipment High School Diploma/GED Ability to effectively communicate with team members High degree of analytical skills Good color discernment About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
