RSI is recruiting for an Electrical Nuclear Operations Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Lead Electrical Engineer or support capacity coordinating and performing electrical engineering activities. Electrical Engineering work may include but is not limited to existing equipment and infrastructure evaluations, load calculations, equipment sizing and selection (switchgear, disconnects, MCCs, etc.), single line and raceway drawings, generating electrical bill of materials and scopes of work supporting procurement and subcontracts, developing and executing test plans.

  • Support installation and startup of designs in the field.

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Five or more years in electrical engineering focus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent electrical and technical skills.

  • Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Understanding arc flash calculations (SKM) is a plus.
