Description

Healthcare network has an immediate opening for a remote Real Estate Paralegal! This Real Estate Paralegal will join the legal team and report the VP of Real Estate Law. This role involves handling a large volume of leases and real estate documents, making swift and accurate assessments on the nature of incoming items. You will act as a critical triage point for the leases, distinguishing between routine business decisions and legal issues that require attorney review. This Real Estate Paralegal can work 100% remotely so candidates from around the US are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have at 5+ years of transactional real estate paralegal experience; prior in-house real estate law experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming leases and real estate documents.

• Make assessments on the nature of incoming items and their required level of review.

• Distinguish between routine business decisions and actual legal issues.

• Prepare files for filing and maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate handling of leases.

• Utilize knowledge of real estate law and leases to effectively perform duties.

• Administer lease administration and handle lease abstracts.

• Engage in support of corporate real estate transactions, including acquisitions and contracts.

• Handle real estate documents and zoning information.

• Ensure all actions taken are in compliance with legal guidelines and internal policies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal.

• Proficiency in lease administration and lease documents.

• Ability to understand and manage various real estate related documents.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
