Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler for a client in the Anaheim, CA area.

Candidate will be responsible for:

  • Signing of sales orders and production planning and scheduling of various productlines.

  • Work closely with the Sales Department to understand and respond to customers expediterequests and work out alternative scenarios to be communicated to the customers.

  • Release and track workflow from Sales and Engineering Departments through the Manufacturingprocess.

  • Issue flow sheets and other documents as appropriate.

  • Create, track and report on the current production status of released job orders, followingAS9l00C and ITAR standards.

  • Use SPC as a tool for determining appropriate start levels in production.

  • Coordinate and manage special projects as required.

  • Assist manufacturing departments to actively manage the production schedules.


  • BA/BS (Business Administration, Operations Management or Technical)

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

  • Prior experience with an ERP system.

  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (electronic component manufacturingexperience strongly preferred).
