​​​​​​The Cable/Harness Assembler performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Have basic qualifications on manual and power hand tools, basic computer skills, ability to work in an ordinance facility, interpret and follow written instructions. Work on the manufacturing of complex cable harness assemblies, test fixtures and electronic interface devices designed for military training simulators. Job Responsibilities: Fabricate cables and harnesses per wire lists, wire diagrams, drawings and special instructions. Install cables and harnesses in training devices per installation drawings and/or special instructions. Wire electro-mechanical sub assemblers per wire lists, wiring diagrams, drawings, and special instructions. Perform continuity tests on cables, harnesses and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. Evaluate and suggest changes or improvements to engineering drawings as required. Work with shop management and other company personnel to insure the timely completion of assigned tasks. Extensive soldering Ability to use had tools associated with electro-mechanical assembly. Job Qualifications: Knowledgeable of basic electronics Certified IPC-A610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001 Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 Quality Management Standards Able to apply for a U.S Secret Clearance
