Cole Engineering Services, Inc. Production Planner/Scheduler in Orlando, Florida

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for program planning and scheduling as well as schedule tracking, analysis, maintenance and reporting.
  • Interface with customer, subcontractors, project managers, contracts, senior technical personnel, and senior management.
  • Responsible for working with program management staff to develop the program IMP/IMS, as required by contract.
  • Creation of detailed program schedules on assigned program(s); identify and monitor the Program Critical Path, and maintain Earned Value metrics for the Program Schedule
  • Work with program technical staff to develop three-point estimates for tasks and utilize this data to perform Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) calculations.
  • Measure and assess program performance on a regular basis and generate performance reports, graphs, analysis, etc. Be able to prepare government schedule related data items. Work with Program Management staff to ensure cost/schedule integration is maintained per industry standards. Ensure compliance with CESI EVM policies and procedures, as necessary.
  • Work with Program Management staff in the establishment of Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs), as necessary.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, schedule objectives are met.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of schedules for proposals.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or an Engineering discipline preferred, work related experience can be substituted for degree.
  • 7+ years of related job experience in working on government DoD programs.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Extensive JIRA/Confluence experience (experience with additional scheduling tools is a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with SRA tools (e.g., @Risk, Full Monte, Risk+)
  • PMI Certification (e.g., PMI-SP, CAPM, PMP) is desired and a definite plus
  • IMS resource loading experience; critical path analysis and experience in supporting government program/project management ANSI 748 compliance requirements, and performance measurement schedule baseline experience
  • Must have a working knowledge MS Office, and EVMS principles, including integration of cost and schedule information
  • Must have good presentation, communication, and training skills
  • Must have good analytical skills and work well in teams
  • Must have good organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities effectively
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Other Requirements:Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
