Federated Hermes Advisory Services Manager in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business required; Bachelor's degree in Business with concentration in Finance, Accounting; MBA or Law Degree preferred.

``` - Minimum 7-10 years business experience in investment business required; investment product management or project management experience in financial industry preferred.

 

MAJOR DUTIES:

Manage Client, Product, Project and Business Development Initiatives for Investment Services including client reporting, managing client issues, client initialization of new products, business development opportunities, fund acquisitions/ mergers, managing enhanced product features, managing compliance with new regulatory requirements and projects to support the overall Investment Management Infrastructure.  Manage projects and new business for the Federated Hermes Funds, and direct advisory businesses to include sub-advised, separate accounts, state portfolios from the implementation stage and on-going. 

  • Client management to include initialization, reporting, and on-going management of advisory services to the numerous Investment Advisory clients of the firm as set forth in the agreement, utilizing internal resources managing to the company's risk profile.
  • Develop understanding for the company's investment products to include the regulatory, risk and market impact of various initiatives.
  • Define and manage client requirements for reporting, communication and execution and implement processes to support those requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive project management for assigned projects including creating project plans; developing and managing an interdisciplinary project team to implement projects; and monitoring and ensuring that project timelines and specifications are met.
  • Analyze compliance, legal, product and market developments to define and support decisions regarding clients and assigned products.
  • Manage the communication of client and product initiatives to the Investment Services "Team" to include Senior Management, Investment Management, Sales, Compliance, Marketing, and any area of the company requiring updates and direction.
  • Manage the legal, regulatory, financial, investment management, operational, marketing and distribution aspects of fund, client, and product requirements from approval, through implementation to active management.
  • Manage components of key infrastructure initiatives, i.e. data governance, reorganizations of processes, technology, and support systems, etc.
  • Develop strong management relationship with core resource areas -- Investment Management Portfolio Managers, Trading, Compliance, Legal, Sales, Technology and Product Management.
  • Management of Investment Management support teams to include components of the Investment Management Administrative staff supporting the Portfolio Management teams, Reporting Specialists supporting the sub-advised and separate account clients and business analysts.

     

HOURS/LOCATION:

  • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
  • Federated Investors Tower -- Twenty-fourth Floor
  • Hybrid (Office/ Remote)
