Description

A non-profit organization in Uptown area of Pittsburgh is in need of a temporary PART-TIME Bookkeeper.

This position does have a chance for hire.

The Bookkeeper position is ON-SITE.

The Bookkeeper would be responsible for the following duties:

• Verify and process approximately 50 checks monthly using provided cost allocation percentages

• Generate invoices for six contracts based on monthly expenditure data

• Input monthly payroll data into QuickBooks system

• Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts

• Address audit inquiries and provide necessary information

• Upload account information to Auditor's website

• Participate in annual contract monitoring activities

Requirements

The Requirements for the Bookkeeper position include:

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper is required

• BS or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred BUT experience trump degree

• Non-Profit experience is a HUGE plus
