Description & Details: Hacienda CDC, a trusted community development corporation that strengthens individuals and families through affordable housing, holistic services, and advocacy, is searching for a highly organized Program Specialist to be the first point of contact to help lift a person\'s life for the better. When you join the Homeownership Team at Hacienda CDC, you join a team dedicated to directly impacting the community by promoting homeownership and home retention. Your position will focus on navigating new and existing clients into our program, ensuring our clients are prepared to move on in the process, providing support during group classes, and more. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish. They will be client-centric and understand how client satisfaction has a broad impact on their team. They will demonstrate exceptional follow-up and communication skills, be dependable team players, learn quickly, and be process-oriented. Does this sound like you? This position\'s primary responsibilities include: -Serving as the initial point of contact for all phone, email, and walk-in inquiries regarding our programming and services. -Assisting clients in completing the application process and gathering of supporting/required documentation. -Scheduling client appointments, workshops, orientation sessions, and maintaining calendars. -Maintaining comprehensive and confidential client records for programming and reporting purposes. -Assist with outreach activities, including supporting during educational workshops and events. -Monitoring and ordering of office supplies, including ensuring related invoices are processed and submitted timely. Our ideal candidate must have: An associate degree or a minimum of two years\' experience as an Administrative Assistant in the finance, economic development, social work, or client counseling fields. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The ability to remain patient while clearly explaining our processes. The capability to develop a thorough understanding of our programming and organization. An eye for detail with strong data-entry experience and the ability to type 45 wpm or higher. The ability to treat all clients and their data with confidentiality and respect. Must be able to foster trust, inform, and empower those from diverse backgrounds. A flexible schedule to be able to support occasional events during evenings and weekends. The ability to speak, write, and understand Spanish. It would be great if you also have: An associate\'s degree with coursework done in areas such as business, real estate, finance, planning, social work, or education. A genuine interest and enthusiasm for working with the La Language skill requirement or preference: This position frequently interacts via phone, email, and in-person with clientele who primarily speak Spanish.
