North Coast Container is seeking a Warehouse Associate. The plant is located at 8435 NE Lombard Street., Portland, OR 97220. Hours are typically 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. but may require earlier starts or over-time with possible over-time on Saturdays. This is a union, full-time, hourly, day shift position offering PTO, sick, Medical, Dental, Vision, life and disability insurance, plus pension program. Duties include: Loads drums into trailers, loads drums onto pallets and shrink wraps Applies nuts, bolts, metal rings and metal plugs onto drums Applies labels to drums Sweeps trailers clean prior to loading Refills supplies in between orders Performs quality checks and completes quality paperwork Uses hand pallet jack and may operate forklift.
