RB&G Engineering, a Utah civil engineering firm, seeks applications for an open position as a construction materials technician.   

This position will be based in our main Provo lab, working primarily along the Wasatch front. Job duties will include driving to and from project sites, collecting samples (soil, concrete, asphalt), conducting materials tests at construction sites and in the lab, recording and reporting test data, and performing basic calculations. Construction materials technicians may also assist geotechnical exploration crews drilling borings and sampling soil and rock for engineering studies.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Valid Utah driver's license and clean driving record (no outstanding DUIs). 

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and continue to work in a drug-free environment. 

• Able to complete on-job training courses which require basic math and communication skills. 

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the work day (sometimes up to 75 lbs.). 

• Integrity, punctuality, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
