Description
Prepare various reports by using Microsoft Applications, or any applications required
Prepare and types orders for SF1s and print orders and processes them through proper channels
Provide support for receipts of supplies and publications, checks and tallies items against due-in documents, add new items, create due-ins, and update supplies to the inventory system
Participates in special and cyclical/annual inventories; maintains stock and replenishment records through proper procedures; and updates SOPs and/or desk instructions
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records
Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.
Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Computes amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.
May monitor and control movement of material and parts on automated conveyor system.
Pick Packers pick order tickets and process them by completing any required paperwork, locating items in the warehouse, moving them to the processing and shipping area and scanning their barcode, and ensure that all orders and inventory are accurately tracked.
Pick Packers then pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. They must inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any parts, package them according to specifications and transport them carefully as needed to bring them to shipping facilities.
Pick Packer maintains warehouse inventory by arranging boxes and making sure they’re stored in a way that they won’t be damaged
Make sure to track all orders, packaging, and shipping in order to ensure inventory is accurately recorded. Finally, they’re often responsible for maintaining general cleanliness in the warehouse.
Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must have a valid Driver's License
Minimum one (1) year experience in support and/or warehouse services
Must be able to drive/operate: Forklift, Stock Pickers, Electric Pallet Jack, Manual Pallet Jack, and Box Truck.
Specialized Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Holds a current/active Forklift or Commercial Lift Certification
