Actalent Laboratory Supervisor in Queens, New York

Actively HIRING a LABRATORY TECHNOLOGIST for one of the top providers in the state of New York. This positions offers competitive pay, great benefits, and opportunities for growth!

Job Description:

  • Supervisor is running the floor, able to provide guidance, watch the floor, make sure things are running smoothly, be a resource, have to help on bench when needed.

  • Prepared to do reviews of documentation, prioritize work flow and reviews. Individual must be detail oriented with documentation and know what to look out for.

  • Well versed with analyzer, still required training but someone who has worked with hematology analyzers.

  • They will be supervising a team of 10-12 technologists

  • Responsible for scheduling

  • Hematology Testing

Skills:

  • Medical technologist

  • Laboratory

  • Medical laboratory

  • Clinical Laboratory Science

  • Hematology

  • Blood bank

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Medical Laboratory Science

  • NYS Medical Technologist license

  • ASCP certification.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of leadership experience and minimum of 4 years clinical lab experience

Experience Level:

  • Expert Level
