We are offering an opportunity for an eCommerce Web Developer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. Based in Red Wing, Minnesota, this role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web solutions for our business needs. As a Web Developer, you will bring your extensive technical knowledge and skills to actively participate in our dedicated eCommerce team, providing support and development on our existing eCommerce websites and large projects. This opportunity can be 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Produce content for marketing on our eCommerce platform, ensuring that all requirements are met and documented accurately.

• Review, update, and maintain design documentation and work items in our project management tool.

• Implement customizations to the eCommerce platform, using high-quality, testable, and compliant code according to software development best practices.

• Implement website layouts and user interface designs, integrating data from various back-end services and databases.

• Provide mentorship to team members on new technology and its application, coding best practices, and general technology architecture.

• Work closely with business analysts, marketing, design, and product management to design and develop web-based solutions that meet business needs.

• Assist in planning sessions and be able to travel as required.

• Maintain accurate records of all work done and ensure that all tasks are completed within the assigned timeline.

• Utilize your skills in JavaScript, SQL, Cloud Technologies, and other relevant technologies to build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

• Participate in team retrospectives, identifying potential team improvements and providing valuable feedback on peers and evaluation of team performance.

Requirements

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud Exp required

• Strong experience and understanding of Ecommerce practicing is required

• Google Analytics experience is a bonus

• Five or more years of experience in eCommerce focused responsive/cross browser compliant development.

• Proven experience with multiple web technologies, including: XML, HTML, SCSS/CSS, AJAX/JavaScript/jQuery, ExpressJS, Node, NPM, yarn, and SQL. Experience using JS Controllers, ISML Templates, Jobs and service frameworks is highly encouraged.

• Experience working with and integrating with APIs and 3rd party system integrations (SOAP/REST) to payment, OMS, Shipping, CRM, CMS & WMS systems.

• Experience working in an Agile team environment where you have actively participated in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.

• Experience with source control implementations and management, specifically using GIT.

• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
