Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Credit Clerk in Richardson, Texas. This role is within the telecom industry, with a focus on handling customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The role requires an individual who can efficiently process data entry tasks and handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties, including handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) and ensuring timely payments

• Perform various data entry tasks, including credit card payments

• Handle minor HR duties as required

• Learn and adapt to using various software such as MS Suite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and LexisNexis

• Participate in ongoing training to handle other tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing and invoice processing procedures

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of LexisNexis and its applications in accounting

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
