What we are looking for in a Technical Sales Engineer:

Technical Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the sales team, distributors and integrators, and are responsible for driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working in conjunction with the sales team as a key technical advisor and product advocate, the Technical Sales Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, which includes commissioning of installed solutions, solution designs and parts recommendations, product sales and technical training, and good communication between the sales team and engineering team.

This position is flexible in location with preference for candidates in the Central time zone. This position has flexibility to work fully remotely.

We pay a competitive salary between $80,000 and $115,000 per year based on experience, plus the opportunity to earn an additional company profit-share bonus every 6 months.

The schedule is Monday - Friday during business hours with travel estimated at 50%.

A day on the job may include:

• Articulating technology and product positioning to both sales and technical users

• Providing professional design and specification development support to integrators and distributors

• Performing technical/product training for sales people, integrators, and technical engineers via live and/or online training courses

• Traveling to project sites to assist with site surveys, integration, commissioning and training services across the country

• Maintaining expert level of product knowledge and application

• Resolving customer issues or difficulties in a professional manner that is consistent with the company values and objectives

• Maintaining professional business relationships with integrators and target accounts

• Providing status of ongoing projects and future projects through opportunities submitted via customer database (CRM)

• Managing cloud-based management system while educating customers and setting up new accounts

  This job may be for you if you have:

• Minimum 1-year experience in System Design tools (Visio, Esticom, iBwave, etc.)

• Previous experience working with Cellular DAS technology and equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzers, MNO coordination, signal repeaters)

• Strong computer skills are required including familiarity with Windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet tight deadlines

• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Prefer candidates located in the Central U.S. time zone

  Extra Awesome:

• Training experience preferred

• Familiarity with WilsonPro and/or Zinwave solutions is a plus

• A.S. Degree in Engineering Technology or related field is a plus
