Description Associate Infection Preventionist (Full-Time / Days) - Infection Control at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA Work Schedule Monday - Friday core business hours, requires some flexibility. The Associate Infection Preventionist is the entry-level position for Infection Prevention. A candidate for this position must have a sufficient healthcare background but requires only basic infection prevention/epidemiology knowledge, as the majority of training will occur on the job. Based on commensurate experience and certifications, candidates may qualify for Infection Prevention Specialist or Senior Infection Preventionist positions. Shift Details: Full Time, Exempt, Day Shift, 40 hours every week Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field. Or equivalent educ/experience, Preferred Qualifications: a-IPC (Associate - Infection Prevention and Control) or CIC (Certification of Infection Control) Master's Degree Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology and related health science field.
