The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Payment Analysis Team Lead - Millennium.

The primary responsibilities of the Payment Analysis Team Lead - Millennium is the resolution of over and underpayment discrepancies on paid accounts and collection balances on unpaid accounts in the Cerner Millennium system.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provides initial and ongoing training to staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed.

  • Meet with Payment Analysis Manager - East regularly to effectively communicate and resolve issues, set and prioritize goals and improve processes.

  • Assist with staff communication, providing updates, resolving issues, setting goals and maintaining standards.

  • Assist with assuring overpayments and collections are researched and processed with accuracy.

  • Answer questions and assist staff with day to day issues.

  • Assist Payment Analysis Manager - Millennium with development and implementation of project and department action plans.

  • Help resolve issues identified for process improvement as identified by the refund or variance staff.

  • Review and/or create daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned.

  • Monitor daily productivity of each Refund/Variance Analyst to assure defined goals and objectives of department are met.

  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, degree preferred

  • 1-3 years healthcare revenue cycle experience required.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
