Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and diligent Production Worker to join our team. You will work in various assembly areas, including Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing, and Packing. Your tasks will include the assembly of mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools like c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns. You will also be expected to inspect mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects. You may be involved in box spring assembly, mattress assembly, or quilting.

Hard Skills

• 1+ years of hand tools and general assembly experience

• Previous hand tools experience

• Manufacturing experience (not required)

Soft Skills

• Ability to adapt to different assembly areas

• Attention to detail for inspection of flaws and defects

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an air-conditioned environment with shift timings from 5 am - 5 pm, available for 12-hour shifts occasionally. Training is provided from 8 am - 5 pm for the 1st shift, and 2nd shift training starts at 5 pm. You should be open to working 6-day weeks up to 12 hours per day, especially during high season, which includes most Saturdays. The job involves physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting and/or moving materials. You must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations. The work environment is fast-paced and engaged in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement. It includes a clean and safe work area and exposure to high noise decibels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn for any hazards and is supplied by the company.
