This role will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing order management, ensuring on-time delivery, verifying purchase orders for accuracy, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure favorable terms and pricing

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from order placement to delivery

  • Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing needs and priorities

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize value for the organization

  • Monitor inventory levels and track purchasing trends to identify opportunities for cost savings

  • Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline transportation and delivery processes

  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices

  • Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and projects

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field a plus

  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport with vendors

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
