Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Survey CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and producing survey documents as directed. This role involves performing project research, reviewing plats, conducting calculations, maintaining records, and preparing CAD drawings, survey sketches, and legal descriptions. The technician will also provide field crew support, process survey data from data collectors, and offer related surveying services to support engineering work.

Hard Skills

• CAD and Survey computer skills

• Operational knowledge of Bentley OpenSite/OpenRoads/Microstation/AutoCAD

• Ability to process Survey Data from Data Collectors

• Familiarity with Topographic/Design/Boundary & Construction Surveys

• Proficiency in Construction Stakeout and earthwork calculations

Soft Skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and documents

• Familiarity with survey concepts, practices, and procedures

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

The position is primarily office-based with a 12/4 office-to-field work ratio. We have six licensed professionals on staff, and we're proud to offer considerable growth and mentorship opportunities within our dynamic team.
