Stadium GM Superstore in Salem is seeking an energetic, and success driven GM Certified Automotive Service Technician for our dealership located in Salem, OH. Our Chevrolet/Buick/GMC/Cadillac service team is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction to our loyal customers.

If you fit the above criteria and you are committed to 100% customer satisfaction, then you could be the next GM Automotive Service Technician we are looking for. Prior Automotive Technician experience is required and GM Certification is a must.

Job Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician, you will perform automotive repairs as described on repair orders with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with factory and service center standards. You will diagnose vehicle malfunctions, recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs. Additional responsibilities include:

• Examining vehicles to diagnose necessary repairs
• Communicating maintenance needs to Service Advisor
• Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Notifying Service Advisor if work cannot be completed as promised
• Documenting all work performed clearly and accurately
• Attending and successfully completing factory training as required
• Keeping informed of factory technical bulletins

Job Requirements

• 2 years of automotive maintenance experience and training is required
• Can work in a fast pace environment and are organized and can manage your time
• Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance or minor repair work.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Focus on customer satisfaction
• Professional appearance, demeanor and work ethic
