Job Description

David Weekley Homes, a progressive leader in the homebuilding industry and nationally recognized for award-winning designs, is seeking a qualified Revit/CAD Architectural Drafter to join our Design Services team in San Antonio.

We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working professionals to play a key role in the development of residential product. We offer comprehensive training, a great team environment, and a work environment that encourages our team to serve our customers, both internal and external.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop site drawings, noting home locations on lots for address-specific plans

• Develop construction documents for permitting and starts

• Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinates all sheets that are affected by any changes

• Interaction with field Team Members for projects under construction

• Ensure established deadlines are achieved

• Facilitate problem solving with fellow Team Members, City Coordinators and City Managers

  Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, Computer Aided Drafting or a related field

• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in Revit/CAD Drafting in any industry

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software

• Knowledge of construction documents

• Effective time-management and multi-tasking capabilities

• Solid written and verbal communication skills in order to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on phone or via email

• Service oriented mindset with a team player attitude
