Universal Health Services DIR - PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE : To achieve consistent and integrated programming in all Laurel Ridge areas of service by developing and maintaining optimal curriculums, developing and monitoring curriculum training for relevant staff, monitoring and maintaining program and curriculum fidelity data, and monitoring and maintaining program outcome data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Researches, develops and maintains standardized curriculums for:

    -Mission Resiliency Program

    -Mission Vista Program

    -Military Sexual Trauma Program

    -Combat Operational Stress Program

    -Army in Training Program

    -Acute Adult Program

    -Acute Child and Adolescent Programs

    -Residential Child and Adolescent Programs

    -Partial Hospitalization Program

    -Intensive Outpatient Program

  • Develops and executes ongoing curriculum training for the Directors of Clinical Services and all staff responsible for implementing curriculums on patient care units.

  • Monitors and evaluates curriculum fidelity for all staff responsible for implementing curriculums on patient care units.

  • Develops, maintains, and monitors outcome measures for all patient care units.

  • Integrates standardized curriculums with programming of Nursing Department, Art Therapist, and STS and integrates standardized documentation with requirements of Chief of Nursing and Director of Regulatory Compliance and Program Improvement.

  • Supports CEO’s and DBB’s overall strategic business plan.

  • Supports hospital’s financial goals and objectives.

  • Participates in training and development activities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

  • Develops and maintains relationships within the internal and external hospital and corporate departments.

  • Supports internal and external customer service standards.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Excellent written and verbal communication. Documented track record in Mental Health, Program Development, and Curriculum Development.

    EDUCATION: Minimum of Master’s degree and mental health licensure in good standing.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Master’s level mental health licensure, valid driver’s license

    EXPERIENCE: Prefer experience in program and curriculum development. Direct care mental health experience required. Teaching/training experience preferred but not required. Professional image; Willing to travel; Ability to maintain information as highly confidential, read and understand current research.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    * Ability to use the following machines, tools and equipment used on the

    job: Computer; Telephone; Fax machine; Photocopier; Automobile; Audio-visual equip.

    * Ability to stand, walk, stoop, lift and grasp. * Ability to move about to accomplish tasks, particularly at times for long-

    distances.

    • Ability to clearly and concisely express and exchange ideas via the

    spoken word, conveying detailed information to others accurately and on occasion quickly.

    • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
