The position provides technical guidance and training to the implementation teams, serves as technology and best practices evangelist and ensures that implementations follow the finest of implementation standards and principles. This position advises technical management and business areas on key architectural decisions regarding platforms and supporting technologies. This position produces technical architectures (documented by deliverables) that are scalable, maintainable, dependable, secure, and meet performance requirements. Must Haves: network and access management experience, cloud and data center experience.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in technology or related field, tech functional on the business side.

Minimum Skills

The Open Group Architecture Framework Certification or equivalent. Equivalents: AWS Certified Solution Architect, Zachman Enterprise Architect Cert, ITIL Expert Certification, Open Agile Architecture Cert, Professional Cloud Solutions Architect Cert, AWS Certified Solution Architect

Preferred Qualifications

· Enterprise communications and network architecture experience in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment

· Strong experience with On-Prem / Private, Public Cloud network services.

· CCIE or equivalent technical certification will be beneficial

· Experience in architecting and working with large scale IP networks with multiple routing domains & service providers, routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP & OSPF.

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Network & Communications Architect to join their team. The Enterprise Network & Communications Architect will lead architecture roadmaps for Enterprise Network, Voice and Communications solutions from a technology perspective . This involves that implementations follow the highest standard and principles.

Pay Range: $115k - $145k

What’s the Job?

  • Create enterprise networking architectural patterns, approaches, and design solutions, research new technologies and approaches

  • Develop and plan enterprise communication/network architecture and design for complex IT system interactions

  • Design architecture and automation solutions for on-premise, wide area, and cloud networking solutions

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of IT application structures, supporting network components, and holistic IT functions, operations, security solutions, and dataflows

What’s Needed?

  • Network and Access Management experience

  • Cloud and Data Center experience

  • Experience in architecting and working with large-scale IP networks with multiple routing domains and service providers, and routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF

  • Extensive experience in layered solutions and designs, diverse technical configurations across multiple technologies and processing environment
