The Operations Architect will be joining a team responsible for developing and maintaining tools, scripts or processes to support the Technical Operations Teams. The projects can include anything from improving dashboards or alerting with Monitoring Applications, building out a new monitoring application, or writing scripts to automate a standard process. The Architect should be familiar with bash, python or other scripting language and have experience working with a monitoring tool such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics or AWS Cloudwatch.

• Build, improve and maintain tools to support the Technical Operations Teams.

• Support procurement and building of an Incident Management and Escalations tool.

• Support continued implementation of Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS Cloudwatch and other monitoring tools.

• Collaborate with Technical Operations, Technical Architecture and Development teams to identify areas of potential improvements by new tools, alerts, or automation.

• Manage other projects to improve efficiency of pre-production and production operations.

• Applies scripting methodologies to automate related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

• 4-6 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.

Other Job Specific Skills

• Bash, python or other scripting languages.

• Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria.

• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve more complex system hardware, software or networking related problems.

• Familiarity with Operations Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics or AWS Cloudwatch.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace and storage technology.

• Knowledge of Agile Framework.

• AWS Certification is a plus.

• Ansible automation is a plus.
