If so, we're looking for individuals like you! The Media Frameworks QE team is seeking a self-motivated Software Quality Engineer to ensure a stellar Media Experience across the Apple Ecosystem. The Audio & Media Technologies Group (AMT) provides the media and graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including Vision Pro, Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod, TV, Watch and AirPods/Beats line of Products. We are looking for someone with established QA automation experience, excellent interpersonal skills and a dream to work in a fast-paced environment. Develop automation using Python frameworks and implement tests for new Media related features.

Key Qualifications

  • High Proficiency in Python, Swift or similar OOP languages

  • Automation experience (development & execution)

  • Quality communication skills in listening, open-mindedness, cohesion and clarity

  • Proven technical leadership skills and a standout colleague

Description

We ensure our customers have the best experience when they enjoy a movie, capture their life’s best moments, FaceTime with their loved ones, and relive their favorite Memories through a curated collection of important photos and videos. This role will involve: Defining Functional and Performance tests for new features Automating assess/existing functionality by creating new Python/Swift libraries Execute manual and automated tests Triaging and reporting of test failures Reporting current quality of existing technologies and new features Working with development engineers to debug issues Working with several cross-functional teams and establishing relationships with them

Education & Experience

BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $109,012.79 and $189,500.00 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
