Position: Bookkeeper

Location: San Francisco, CA (3 days in office); walkable to BART station in Financial District

Duration: 3-month contract (opportunity for temp-to-hire for right fit and business needs)

Pay: $24-$27 per hour

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics to join a wealth management firm as an Accounting Assoicate/Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup of all banking transactions and verification of client requests

• Classification and recording of bank account and credit card details

• Bookkeeping duties including recording transactions for multiple entities and assist with basic financial reports.

• Manage P& L, balance sheet, and cash flow for business management clients

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including updating budgets and balance sheets

• Assist operations team with new account paperwork as needed

• Timely, accurate, and reliable bill pay

• General Ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliation, and cost allocations

• Assist with cash reporting

Work Hours: 8:00-5:00 PM with an hour lunch

Interview Process: Two 30-minute interviews

Background Check Requirement: standard 7 year criminal history, credit check

• Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar

• 3-6+ month accounting internship or work experience required

• QuickBooks experience nice-to-have
