Oriental Bank Associate, Auto (Loan Production) - Temporary in San Juan, Puerto Rico

The Associate, Auto (Loan Production) (Temporary Position) is primarily responsible for document validation and disbursement of auto loan applications, in compliance with Oriental Bank Credit Policy and guidelines. Position works on-site based in San Juan, PR.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review and confirm auto loan application's documents are in compliance with Oriental Bank Credit Policy and guidelines.

  • Update, complete, and validate the system information according to CIP policy, collateral, and insurance information with the established procedures.

  • Calculate customer's income based on loan documentation and ensure it is in accordance with Oriental Bank Credit Policy and guidelines.

  • Complete the disbursement Process in accordance with Oriental Bank Credit Policy and guideline.

  • Communicate with customers and employers to ensure all needed information and data is collected and documented.

  • Support monthly auto business goals are reach as establish in the strategy plan.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business administration or related field required.

  • One (1) year of experience in loan support or customer service in auto area required.

  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

  • Experience in banking and credit reports highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting systems and other business applications required.

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.

  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
