Job Description

This resource will act as the senior program lead for new vehicle product integration of a connected mobile product consisting of embedded electronic controls, onboard display units, high speed in-vehicle networks, high speed wireless networks, wearable connected devices, mobile applications, and web applications. The focus of this role will be to manage the vehicle development programs aimed at delivering major and minor product platform updates as integrated solutions into various mobile automotive applications. This resource will be responsible for receiving the product management direction from the client on target platform features, the planned timelines for deployment of these features, and the target vehicle models on which these platform features are to be offered.

  • Simultaneously track and manage multiple vehicle integration programs varying in size from major product modifications to minor product enhancements

  • Maintain accurate schedules and execute project on time and within budget

  • Collaborate with client and various internal and external business partners to work within agile project schedules, planned releases, and participate in joint integration testing activities

  • In coordination with the system validation and testing team, verify, track, and report on comprehensive regression testing and new feature testing for all releases as specified

  • Manage and set up accounts for various team members to enable development, release, and testing

  • Working with technical operations group, log, track, and report all issues identified by internal and external system users and drive all issues back into the agile development, test, and release process in collaboration with the technical operations team

  • Accountable to manage hand-off from vehicle application integration team to technical operations

  • Maintain close integration with various client organization representatives to facilitate communication of new releases and systems integration

  • Lead, manage, support and drive improvements to the product development process through continuous improvement activities, aggressive problem investigation and resolution processes, and constantly challenging the teams to create more efficient development, testing, and product releases

  • Oversee and mentor vehicle development engineers, as they manage vehicle development programs of their own


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT related discipline

  • 4-7 years strong project management leadership and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across multiple organizations or vendors with competing priorities

  • 2-4 years’ experience within an agile management project team

  • Experienced with Atlassian issue tracker Jira or similar tool to track programs and associated issues to closure

  • IoT or other connected technology between sensor and desktop (remote device) working with a variety of wireless technologies

  • Automotive or mobile equipment integration and in-vehicle testing and validation, and experience troubleshooting and identifying root cause for system issues in an automotive application

  • Android / Apple mobile device development, testing, or project management

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite including Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Worked with remote teams of diverse cultural and professional backgrounds

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-company and multi-geographical team

  • Valid driver’s license
