Bilingual Spanish and English

Computer skills NetSuite, ERP system and Outlook. Effective communication with all departments.

Leadership experience prior supervisor or lead experience.

Assist Area Supervisor in ensuring that departmental goals in safety, quality, and productivity are achieved consistently. Trouble-shoot problem areas and recommend corrective actions as required. Reconcile paperwork upon completion of schedule. Ensure good housekeeping, safety, line balance and performance. Assist in controlling material movement throughout the manufacturing process.



  • Actively participate in the company's safety program.

  • Ensure that the employees are provided a safe work environment.

  • Assist Area Managers with EHS training.

  • Act as a safety ambassador and lead by example.

  • Promote safety practices throughout the plant.

  • Identify and document safety hazards.


  • Ensure that the first pass quality levels meet or exceed departmental goals.

  • Assist Area Managers Supervisor in training all employees on quality requirements.

  • Conduct a thorough line clearance prior to start-up.

  • Ensure that line scrap is kept separate from good production.

  • Redirect maintenance staff to ensure that all quality issues are corrected in a timely manner.

  • Report all critical incidents to the Shift Area Manager Supervisor.

  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained by completing the daily housekeeping audit. Complete OTC reconciliations in a timely manner.

  • Assist in Lean Initiatives.


  • Identify and implement corrective actions to ensure that lines are operating at 100 % efficiency to standard. Redirect support staff (maintenance, quality, warehouse personnel, etc.) as necessary.

  • Ensure that all assigned schedules operate at standard speed and crew size. Notify Area Supervisor or Engineering of incorrect standards are being ran on production line.

  • Assist Area Supervisor in optimal use of labor force to reduce idle time.

  • Ensure that the daily shift report contains accurate information and is completed in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that components are ordered from the warehouse in a manner that does not negatively affect efficiencies.

  • Attend and participate in daily production meetings to determine priorities. Execute priorities as assigned to ensure that schedule adherence goals are achieved.

  • Ensure all efficiency boards are up-to-date.

  • Ensure downtime tracking by line is accurate with automated system.


  • Other projects as assigned by department managers

  • Assist Area Supervisor with corrective actions and OTC investigations, when necessary.

  • Lead and assist Manager in running production when area Supervisor is absent or unavailable. Head daily shift change meeting when in-charge of production.

  • Drive the LEAN initiatives assigned (Ensure proper downtime tracking, performance measuring and production reporting is completed accurately


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, with basic math knowledge

  • 2-3 years Inventory control experience in a high volume production facility preferred

  • Typing skills must be highly accurate with strong computer literacy skills in Office Standard Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel and MRPII manufacturing systems

  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision at times.
