Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, LLC. Plant Engineering (Various Position Levels) in Savannah, Georgia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning the proper construction schedule and civil specifications according to HMGMA`s standard.
  • Responsible for technical and economic construction management activities to meet design and construction requirements.
  • After the completion of construction, responsible for maintenance of road and civil performing management work such as road repairs and civil and the extended or modified structure of the building, if required.
  • Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives and oversee development and achievement of them across the organization.
  • Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions.
  • Develop civil plans and associated projects in all stages: setting materials, techniques, methodologies, analyzing data and information, and developing technical financial feasibility studies.
  • Develop architectural plans and associated projects in all stages: setting materials, finishes, techniques, methodologies, analyzing data and information, and developing technical financial feasibility studies.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Qualifications and Preferences Minimum:

  • Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel) and AutoCAD.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering or related area.

Preferred:

  • More than 5 years construction or engineering experience in an industrial field in the US.
  • Experience with industrial construction and maintenance on owner side.
  • Civil engineer certification.

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement
