Providence St. Joseph Health Material Handler - Cherry Hill in Seattle, Washington

Description Material Handler - Cherry Hill (Full Time, Night Shift) This position is responsible for maintaining inventory controls for surgical and interventional supplies and materials. Works with Supply Chain (MSC) Supervisor, Specialty Charge RNs, and clinicians to manage, adjust, and implement supply par and bin location changes for new and existing supplies. Coordinates materials activities to meet the ongoing needs of clinicians in a procedural/interventional area. Analyzes supply trends and workflows to facilitate product changes to meet changes in demand. Facilitates cost containment efforts, product standardization, inventory control practices, space utilization, and data management. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Four years: Inventory control, materials management in a computerized environment. Experience in computers and computer related functions including experience in materials management inventory software programs and handheld devices. Experience in materials management concepts and operations. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree: In business administration. Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in business administration or In lieu of a college degree, an equivalent of 2 years of college courses including classes on inventory management, logistics, and supervisory development may be substituted. Successful completion of an education training course for Supply Chain Management or another course of similar subject content. Why Join Providence?
