Google Product Marketing Manager, Developer Marketing, Google Cloud in Seattle, Washington

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience in product marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating and managing messaging artifacts and channels, and running marketing campaigns.

  • Experience working in enterprise technology and operating in a global role or on a global scale.

  • Experience working in the learning and skilling space for a technical discipline.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with peers in adjacent teams and align on shared means of achieving goals and outcomes.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will help developers and technical practitioners worldwide discover how they can build their Google Cloud skills. You will be responsible for key aspects of go-to-market for Google Cloud skilling and learning, own messaging and positioning for audience, and orchestrate marketing execution across campaigns, social media, and technical influence engagement. You will take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the learning product's journey from determining positioning, naming, engaged analysis, feature prioritization and external communications. You will help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a user base. You will work with the cross-functional team across Cloud Learning, corporate communications, legal, web, product development, engineering and more. You will be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead marketing of Google Cloud skilling and learning products for broad-reach audiences, collaborating with Cloud Learning Services to up-skill new developers globally and achieve shared goals.

  • Initiate market training and experiences designed to attract and introduce breadth learners to Google Cloud including positioning, creating scalable marketing materials, and managing promotional activities across Google-owned and external channels.

  • Grow top-of-funnel demand and engagement through partnership with peer teams on new forms of content, such as external influencers to attract new generations of cloud learners.

  • Grow demand from learners globally through coordination with regional marketing teams, supporting their adaptation of content and experiences for region-specific communities.

  • Bring insights from the market into development of future training initiatives and experiences through community engagement via developer programs, social listening, and guiding user research.
