Seattle Children’s Hospital Senior Executive Assistant-Administration in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: In this position, you will: -Provide administrative support of a highly complex and responsible nature to senior executives. -Work closely with high level internal/external contacts and the executive team, requiring considerable discretion and initiative. -Research background material and collect data for financial plans, budgets, strategic goal development/tracking, operating statistics, reports, presentations, and correspondence. -Exercise independent judgment to reflect the senior executive's style and company policy. -Work independently to prioritize and manage routine correspondence and contacts; drafts, edits and distribute leadership communications for the organization. -Independently carry out assignments relating to civic or committee activities involving fund raising, membership drives, executive retreats, and social functions of the senior executives. -Maintain complex senior executive calendars. -Arrange appointments, schedule visitors; coordinate executive travel; coordinate agendas and schedules for meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes; processe business expense reports; with delegated authority, approve timecards and routine business expenses for senior executive's direct reports; provide executive recruitment support. -Develop standard work processes for the department and assigned committees; partner with teams across the organization to ensure completion of time-sensitive reports, projects, presentations and communications. -Mentor and provide guidance on administrative systems and procedural questions to Administrative staff and other departments to create and sustain standard work and consistency of practice. -Scope of work typically requires extensive administrative experience to senior executive level management. Requirements: Required Education/Experience: -High school diploma or equivalent experience. -At least five (5) years experience in a complex, responsible administrative position, including at least three (3) years experience providing administrative support to senior executive level positions. Required Credentials: N/A. Preferred: -BA degree or completion of college-level administration courses. -Notary Public. -Direct experience working in an academic or publishing environment. -Reference Manager experience. -Experience taking and transcribing meeting minutes. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $36.75 - $55.12 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $76,440.00 - $114,649.60 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
