Slalom LLC Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Technical Writer in Seattle, Washington

The Technical Writer will have the ability to evaluate and analyze/organize complex information, while also possessing the desire to help people understand it. What You'll Do • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards • Gain deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into language for user success • Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specifications • Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements • Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation • Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation What You'll Bring • 3-5+ years of technical writing experience • Experience preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. • Able to gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Organized, detail oriented, adaptable • SAP/Oracle Experience • Experience with the cutover phase About Us Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range is $70/hour to $85/hour.
