Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates as needed to support waterfront infrastructure development and rehabilitation work Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project Calculate construction quantity estimates May occasionally supervise and schedule work of other team members including staff engineers and CAD designers Perform analysis, design, inspection of waterfront structures, asset management, submarine systems, and other maritime projects Structural analysis and design with timber, steel, concrete and composite materials Develop plans, specifications, and calculations as needed Work closely with other disciplines including architects, engineers, scientists, project managers, etc. on multi-discipline projects Perform structural site inspections and prepare inspection reports Other duties: Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
