VOLT has partnered with a large organization who is seeking a Project Manager for a 2 month contract. The ideal candidate will be a PMP certified individual with experience in a Six Sigma or Agile environment. Please review the entire description and apply today if you are qualified and interested.
Provide strong project management support for initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience
Work closely with Program Leads to prioritize key deliverables and ensure alignment with the overall program.
Apply Six Sigma and Service Design principles in effort to streamline throughput and ensure projects deliver successful customer outcomes.
Organize project resources to achieve objectives
Facilitate work stream meetings with team members to ensure solid and timely execution of project decisions and deliverables.
Develop detailed project schedule with milestones of key deliverables
Define and manage changes to project scope and budget
Ensure relevant stakeholders are updated regarding project. Escalate issues requiring management attention.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Manage the relationship and communication plan for all stakeholders
Work proactively and cross-functionally with the team to ensure top-quality deliverables and transparent identification of potential risks and issues.
Serve as owner for work stream project plans and status updates.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects
PMP Certification preferred
Experience or certification with Six Sigma, Service Design, and Agile preferred
Excellent communication skills
Critical competencies: project management, initiative leadership/influencing, driving results, problem solving/analysis, communication skills (oral/written), and strategic thinking.
Ability to work independently and with diverse teams to manage multiple priorities.
