I have a Tempt-to- Hire position for a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic that we are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY. 2 nd shift with an hourly rate of $18-25, depending on experience, for a great Aerospace company. Below is the description:

Schedule : M-F Must be flexible to OT and possible weekends
Pay Rate: $18-25/HR depending on experience
Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial trucks by performing the following duties under supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
Reads job order and observes and listens to truck in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.
Installs new ignition systems, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions, water pumps, hydraulic hoses and other parts.
Repairs shift linkages, head gaskets, brakes, universal joint bearings, radiators, and changes seals on lift cylinders.
Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments.
Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings.
Reads manufacturer's manuals and spare part books, orders replacement parts.
Carries out complete overhaul to mobile equipment, istalls new electric wiring, hydraulic hoses, valves, pumps and cylinders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to use basic maintenance tools, including manual and air impact wrenches, drills, air grinders, electronic timing lights, hammers, saws, ect.
