CONTROLLER/VP OF FINANCE

Well established company is a strong Controller/VP of Finance to join their expanding team. This is a newly created position reporting to the CEO. As their head of finance, this position will oversee Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations.

Responsibilities:

-Manage and oversee company's overall financial operation

• Supervise full cycle accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Month-end Close

-Ensure accurate and timely financial statement reporting and GAAP compliance

-Lead the annual budget process, forecast, financial planning, variance analysis

-Provide financial insight for strategic initiatives, financial planning, and risk management

-Responsible for preparation and presentation of financial updates, analysis

-Evaluate and optimize financial systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy

Requirements

BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance

CPA, public/private mix experience preferred

Must have experience managing both accounting & finance

Strong FP& A (creating budgets, forecasts, sales analysis, inventory analysis, etc.)

Experience building process/procedures, systems implementation

Prefer someone who has worked in distribution or company that has inventory

Ability to work with large data sets, and provide analysis for business decisions

Strong management, leadership skills
