We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machines, using measuring instruments, performing 1st piece inspection, and editing G&M code. While experience in these areas is preferred, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills and lathes proficiently.

• Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for precision.

• Perform 1st piece inspection to ensure quality standards are met.

• Edit G&M code as necessary; training will be provided.

• Set up machines by downloading programs and adjusting settings.

• Use hoists to place products in position for machining.

• Make real-time adjustments to machine speed and other variables.

• Sweep and clean work area regularly to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

• Eventually, operate two machines simultaneously.

• Work on a 2/2/3 schedule from 4pm to 4am, with opportunities for overtime.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a CNC machine operator preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficiency in using measuring instruments.

• strong mathematical aptitude.

• Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of machine operations.

• Solid job history with a minimum of 2 years at previous positions; no job hopping.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work evening and overnight shifts.

• Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials with the assistance of hoists.
